| To EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} from R. {Sir Henry Royce} c. to EW. c. Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Regarding the supply of electricity to the Works, in discussing alternating currents with Mr. Bentley of Royce Ltd., he said that much money was often paid by consumers on account of small power motors having low power factors, with electricity meters being installed as ampere meters only, i.e. not true watt meters. I think we should investigate the subject in connection with the electrical power supplied at Derby. R. {Sir Henry Royce} | ||
