RE COMPLAINTS OF SECOND GEAR JUMPING OUT.

Further to our HA120/HR.13.8.35., HA/EBL/HR.8.10.35., and HA/EL/HR.24.10.35., in connection with complaints of second gear jumping out on Phantom II, Bentley and 20/25 HP. cars, we have to report a further complaint on Phantom II chassis No. 34-UK, Mr. Kessler.

The mileage is 3,668.

The gearbox on this car is the latest Phantom II synchromesh second gear type.

If you would like anyone to have a demonstration run on this car we can arrange this, as the gear can be made to come out on a local hill.

The total complaints now received are:-

Phantom II.........14
20/25 HP............ 5
Bentley.............. 9.
