SEQUENCE SILENT STARTER Answering your BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD1/ML13.1.25 the size of the field pole core should be in accordance with the following sketch, in which the centre distance has been reduced by .100" and the end radii reduced by .025". [Sketch of a pole core with dimensions: end radii .450", center length 1.700"] As regards the sizes of wires for the various windings, we cannot at the moment say any more than already indicated. As regards the angle of the thread and springs instructed for the reduction gear, this cannot be passed as O.K. until a second model has been experimentally produced and tested. It is really impossible at the moment to consider these items as finally fixed for production. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
