D.C.42 CARBURETTERS. COMPLAINT OF STICKING CHOKES. The following details have been carried out on several EXP. cars as a cure for the above complaint. They have been submitted to the makers who agree to alteration. The choke spindle bearings are .253" dia., they are counterbored .265" dia. from the outside to lengths of .300" and .200" approx. These details are available on E.CD.648 attached. The original torsion spring P.17068 is retained and the clamp bolt on the air intake bend is fitted at right angles to the spindle. The latter only requires the slot being filed at right angles on the inside of the bend. These modifications could be carried out at Derby and Cricklewood without return to the makers.
