Dear Sirs,

1036

Further to our letter of May 12th. we are now able to state more exactly our requirements with regard to a "blower" for use with a carburetter rig. In the first place the term "blower" was used rather loosely, a vacuum pump being implied.

The pump would have to handle an amount slightly in excess of 400 cu.ft/min, say 450 cu.ft/min.

Maximum depression would be 20" mercury.

With regard to electrical conditions, the standard current is 200 v.{VIENNA} 50 cycles frequency. We would be glad of your advice on the type of motor which it would be best to use.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
