For the attention of Mr. Harris.

Dear Sirs,

Will you please supply a dozen Carburetter flange washers (brass and asbestos) to E.B.2702, but incorporating ferrules in the stud holes.

These are for experiment in an effort to prevent distortion of the carburetter flanges when tightened up solid. Please let the writer know if you can supply, then an official order will be sent.

We are also sending under seperate cover, marked for your attention, one faulty float (Bentley). This is due to defective soldering and which you will no doubt be pleased to replace.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
