A 1487 To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GR.{George Ratcliffe}4/JH.16.7.37. Phantom III. We understand that the high pressure S.U. petrol pumps will be on production about the 26th ins. It will be necessary to change the carburettor needle and seating from the present size of .180 to .140 in order to be clear of flooding troubles. The Zenith Co. Stromberg section, have been informed of the changeover. Will you please arrange about the stock of .180 needles and seatings that they will have on hand as surplus. It is possible that the present needle valves could be used with the new .140 seatings. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GR.{George Ratcliffe} | ||
