| -2- Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /CTS. {C. Trot Salt - Carburation} 1/KW.22.1.36. Note. This test was carried out with the induction pipe on a level plane. When the induction pipe is tilted to the equivalent angle of a 1 in 5 gradient on the road, the result is as follows :- Delivery from drain = 11 pts/hr. Flow into the inlet ports = 7 pts/hr. This is due of course to the design of the well, but can be cured by the slight alteration shown on Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 47 attached. Conclusion. The tests show that the design of drain tested is adaptable to the induction pipe without further alteration, other than that shown on Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 47. Tests are at present being completed for the non-return valve, and details will follow this report. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /C.T.Salt. | ||
