For the attention of Mr. A.E.Palmer.
D.C.42 Carburetters.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to the above carburetters modified to our specification of the 16th inst. will you kindly state the earliest possible date on which you can deliver the first batch.

The original 16 carburetters here at the works will not be returned until an equivalent number of the modified ones have been delivered, incidentally these are at fault in the idle control screw. These should be so fitted as to seal well and cut off properly as per Phantom III E.E.C.42 model.

Will you please inspect this point carefully.

Thanking you for an early reply.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
