| To CJ. from R. {Sir Henry Royce} c. to Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} PN. {Mr Northey} 48250 WATER BOILING+ X. 766 X. 8310 *X. 8250 Regarding water boiling Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} definitely proves from experiments in France and Derby that the New Phantom(Codename for PHANTOM I) is decidedly bebter than the Silver Ghost(1907 40/50 historic RAC 15,000 miles trial) type. We expect further information when we have tested a different compression and gear ratio. We are doing all that is reasonably possible on EAC.7. to again increase the design of the radiator, as stated in a recent memo. R. {Sir Henry Royce} | ||
