Spectre(Codename for Phantom III) Pistons.

We think that as a safety-first measure we ought to design and make a Spectre(Codename for Phantom III) piston to exactly the same scheme as the present Phantom and 20/25 pistons.

Mx. {John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} reports so little trouble with these now that it seems foolish to start the car in production with anything else. In the meantime, our tests on semi-split pistons, etc., are going ahead.
