Remarks: We are successfully dealing with the low speed steering wobble by fitting the spring loaded cross steering tube. High speed wobbles are practically non-existent. The stiffer springs as used on India(Production 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes) chassis are fitted whenever spring trouble arises. Up-to-date they appear to be giving satisfactory service. The best way of improving front spring life is to fit hydraulic shock absorbers. ROW 4: Nature of Complaint: Tappets Noisy. No. of Cars.
