X.3398. P & R BATTERIES.

We have previously reported that we have not had good results from these. The last one received (14) was described in our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T7.8.19, and the results from this battery especially the high rate discharges, have been very disappointing. All samples of P & R batteries tested have seemed to suffer from a similar weakness. It may be expressed that they do not seem to have much life in them.
