dynamos not satisfactory from a point of view of noise, they are to be returned at once to Lucas.

This test will mean that the dynamo in each case is run under load against batteries.

4) TRANSPORT.

ELECTRIC TRUCKS. - Mr. Wormald was very enthusiastic that we should increase our numbers of electric trucks for hauling goods about the Works. We have been very well satisfied with the two electric trucks we have now.

The Meeting asked Hy. {Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} to go into the question of which was the best sort of trucks on the market now, with a view to purchasing some more in the near future.

The present two trucks we have are generally booked up two or three days ahead, and have enabled us to do with a good many less labourers about the place.

Hy. {Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} should also report on the transport generally round the Works, and the scheme for various stations where unloading of trucks could take place, so releasing the electric truck to proceed to other work, should have his attention; possibly he may be able to report in about a week's time.
