Hallam - Head Repairs} Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ---------------------------- (1) KLAXON HORNS. We are having great difficulty in getting satisfactory Klaxon horns. The Meeting resolved to ask Col. Barrington to investigate and see if the Klaxon people have got a patent and if they have, exactly what patent it is. The Meeting was strongly of the opinion that we should try and make our own Horns here in the Works instead of being dependent on outside suppliers. At the present moment there is a shortage of 136 Klaxon Horns for chassis on test. (2) SUPPLIES. Accepting the present position of material in the Works as being a minimum basis for efficiently running the Works, Mr. Hives suggests that every time we have despatched a series of 500 chassis, we should then be allowed to order material for another 500 Series. (3) DYNAMOS. It was agreed by the meeting that Mr. Platford and Mr. Haldenby should go into the question, with Mr. Brock, of erecting a rig to test dynamos delivered by Lucas. Lucas' man to be present at the tests. If | ||
