Martindale} 13/MH. {M. Huckerby} 8.11.37. GIRLING BRAKES 6-B-IV. We have noticed that the plungers of the expander units in the shop are incorrectly machined and in consequence the wedges could stick in the brakes 'on' position. Herewith 4 new plungers for 6-B-IV which we want fitting before the car goes to france. Will you offer them up in a spare expander unit to see if they are right. The front brakes of this car will have to be relined as they are nearly worn out. Lining to be used is Thermoid D.35. IH. New plungers for all our expander units will arrive shortly.
