We regret the delay in replying to C13/C8.6.39. This car was stored at Sanderson & Holmes because there was no room at the Repair. It was waiting for the work recommended in Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 9/R.21.4.39. to be carried out. You will remember that you agreed to this work being done, and Hd. {Mr Hayward / Mr Huddy} is now putting it in hand immediately. We anticipate that the car will be handed to E.R.
