YOUR REF Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}6/MH.{M. Huckerby}

3rd. July 1939.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 29th. June for which we thank you, we have passed this information along to the makers of the gear box.

In the meantime, could you please let me know by return whether the engine which you have sent (The P.3) is fitted with your flexible engine mountings and we would also ask you to let us have a drawing showing the exact location etc. of these fixings. The makers of the hull need this information before determining the precise layout for their frame members.

Yours faithfully,
