40/50 HP. BRAKE LINERS.

ROY {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} 8/MG.8.7.31.

We were fully aware of the value of the material instructed by me to be scrapped in BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Cgh {W Clough} 5/G.26.6.31. We are unable to use this material with even the latest ribbed drums, owing to its high rate of wear.

There is no alternative to scrapping this material.

BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
