(1) SUPPLIES.

Gauges. Test Dept. reported that they were short of 257 pairs of Durant's Gauges, and 114 cars have been despatched without these Gauges. (This 114 is included in the 257). Order Office were asked to try and get at least 100 pairs per week, and if this can be done we can get square in 5 or 6 weeks.

Junction Box for Lucas'Wiring. Test Dept. require 12 of the old type, and 46 of the new type. These are promised for delivery tomorrow. A representative of the Order Office has gone down to consult Mr.Oliver Lucas as to the question of further deliveries, with a view to putting the matter on a good footing.

Wire Wheels fitted with Warland Rims.

13 cars have been despatched on plain wheels. 20 chassis on test, which require these wheels. 3 chassis delivered with faulty wheels, which require the modified type.

Therefore 36 cars on test and delivered waiting for Warland Dual Rims. The ones that have been supplied have been totally unsatisfactory, and we have no real hope of getting good work from them. Dunlops have offered help to Warlands on more than one occasion but up to the present nothing really satisfactory has been done. We therefore recommend Sales to consider whether the customers are prepared to wait for these rims or take Dunlop wire wheels.

The Committee are satisfied that Order Office have done all possible in this matter.
