| E.A.C.V Series & Hispano Steering. The steering leverage of the E.A.C.V Series & the Hispano has been determined by comparing the angular displacement of the stub axles with the rotation of the steering wheel. Curves are appended which show the velocity ratio or leverage of these hoo steering gears and its variation with the angle of lock. It will be seen that the mean curve for the E.A.C.V series approximates very nearly with calculated values from N.SCH.1968. Another curve shows the increase percentage increase of the Hispano leverage over that of the E.A.C.B. The increase becomes very marked as the wheels approach full lock.
