| X1918 e Extract from R7/M30.12.21. RE VISIT OF MESSRS HS. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} & HY {Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} TO WEST WITTERING(Henry Royce's home town) ON WEDNESDAY, 21st. DECEMBER 1921. (9) SPARKING PLUGS. X.1812. X.1918. It is now reported that the best plugs for the Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) are the K.L.G. detachable mica plugs. I would like Mr. Hives to make sure in the event of us using mica plugs that these are satisfactory under all conditions of running, as we found that Lodge detacha-ble mica plugs on the Buick at West Wittering(Henry Royce's home town) very soon sooted up in use. | ||
