BENTLEY 111 - FAN AND FAN DRIVE.

Please receive herewith

E.CD.219 Fan and Fan Drive. Bentley 111.

The design generally is similar to that issued for Wraith 111 to E.CD.243 with the following exceptions :-

The length of the spindle, hub etc. is increased, to bring the fan blades as close to the radiator as possible as requested by Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std., also, owing to the introduction of the thermostat on the Bentley 111 we are unable to use the Wraith 111 type of fixing and adjustment for fan.

The belt adjustment is done by slackening the two nuts on the fixing bolts and lifting the fan until belt is taught before tightening the two nuts again to fix quandrant.

Will you please detail and instruct the necessary parts for the experiment.
