SUBFRAME BODIES AT BARKERS. Barkers write and tell us that they are now absolutely standing still on both the 20HP. and 40/50 Subframe bodies which they have in hand. While we do not wish to appear to be pressing for these chassis, especially in view of the other urgent experiments which you have in hand, yet we would like to know something we could tell Barkers, so that they will remain contented. In the case of the 40/50. which is for R. {Sir Henry Royce} we have only a little over 3 months to completely finish the car before it will be wanted to go with him to the south of France.
