| X46 To RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les.15/KW.7.10.36. Citroen Bentley - 4-B-IV. Will you please do the following work on the above chassis. (1) The front suspension bearings are far too tight. (2) The steering mechanism is stiff and there is slackness in the box. (3) The clutch jaggers very badly (Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Smth.). (4) The cross steering geometry can be much improved by raising the 2 outer ball ends on the sliding member 2½". (5) We require accurate measurements for the front suspension as shown on the attached sketch, also particulars of the spherical bearing top and bottom of the pivots. (6) A metal cover is required to protect the sliding cross steering member. (7) A metal well is necessary in the floorboards in order to facilitate the operation of the pedals. (8) We should like the weight of the complete front suspension unit. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les. | ||
