| X.4190 Extract from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 2/LG26.5.21. X.3614 SPRINGFIELD COMPLAINTS ON 40/50 CHASSIS. X.2565 X.4190 - Piston Knocks. We agree that the original 4-ringed pistons are likely to develop knocks, but so far we have not known of a single case of the latest type 6-ringed pistons having a piston knock when the engine is at its normal temperature. When these pistons are made as die-castings as originally instructed they give better results as regards not knocking. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
