EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT.

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Ed. {J. L. Edwards} 15/JH.

20th. July, 1939.

Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

For the attention of Mr. Shelton.

Dear Sirs,

Further to our conversation of a few weeks ago, we are despatching today under separate cover one dynamo with a pulley suitable for a V.165 belt. We anticipate that the pulleys originally used for Phantom crankshaft and fan will be sufficient to make up a representative triangulated drive, which will give us a fair idea of the life we can expect from Ferogrip belts with this form of drive.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
