The torsional stiffness of the B.III riveted frame after 50 hrs. running on the bumper rig was 1100 lbs.ft./degree between wheel planes. This compares with 1190 lbs.ft./degree before bumping, as as several large holes were drilled in the cross between the two tests it may be taken that no weakening occurred.
