To Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re L.H.P.II Car for America.

Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 4/E21.9.31

Referring to former correspondence I have found out from Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} that we can introduce flip-flap shutters at certain stages with and without scrap.

I do not think, however, we must do so unless we obtain their approval and, as it will be difficult to describe them, I should be glad if you would let me have as quickly as possible a fairly close-up photograph taken of a bonnet side with them showing, one or two of them open and the other closed, so that they will get the idea.
