| To BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Da. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to CJ. Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X.4085. Dal/M16.3.23. GOSHAWK(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) 11. WHEEL CARRIER X.4085. In addition to N.sch.1390. we send herewith N.sch.1391, shewing a further alternative lock for the wheel carrier set screw, the advantage being that this is a positive lock, and is not affected by the motion of the wheel at the rear end. As however, it is a little more elaborate than those we have sent you, we suggest using it only in the event of the schemes shewn on N.sch. 1390 proving to be ineffective.
