| X7941 Hotel de France, CHATEAUROUX(French test region), Indre, France. 2.2.33. To HS. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 19 EX. arrived here with A.B.Roberts last night. I tried the car first thing this morning as it had been run whilst in Paris. My impression was, that for town work the car was riding too hard. At medium and high speeds it was very good. I did no further testing, the reason being that the brakes had become very poor. Roberts has therefore been spending the rest of the day trying to improve them. When these are made O. {Mr Oldham} K. {Mr Kilner} I shall take the Hertford shock dampers off and try the car with the hydraulics only. G.W.H. | ||
