Huckerby} 28.7.38, I am very glad indeed to learn that we can have the Limousine Car, and should like to take it over on, say, the 1st September so as to give us plenty of time to get it in very nice condition for the date of the announcement. Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} agrees we may also have to ask you for the temporary use of the car Mx {John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} is using, to supplement the above Demonstration Car whilst our two cars originally intended for demonstration are displayed in the Showrooms for a suitable period after the announcement. That being the case, if we do ask you for Mx {John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} 's car also we should need it in time to renovate it and do anything to it to make it smart for demonstration work.
