To Roy. {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} from Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls}
c. G {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} /JWH.
c. HPS {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} /WSC. {W. S. Cassel}

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} 4/MH. {M. Huckerby} 18.5.39.

The other day we asked you to order from Messrs. Ransome & Marles 6 of each of the following bearings, DMJT.45 and DMJT.35. Unfortunately, we forgot to specify that these should be journal fit, i.e. DMJT.45.J and DMJT.35.J.

We have telephoned Mr. Hickling of Ransome & Marles, and he says they are willing to take back 5 of each of these bearings which have not yet been used, and that they will supply us almost immediately with 6 of each having a journal fit.

Will the Order Office, therefore, send Ransome & Marles the necessary official order, and will WSC. {W. S. Cassel} send back immediately the ten bearings we have.

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls}
