For the attention of Mr. West. Dear Sirs, We herewith confirm the arrangements made when our Representatives interviewed your Mr. West on Wednesday last the 26th instant to the effect that we are to carry out tests as follows. 12-volt, 40 A.H. Type 'B' and 6.CA11-Y accumulators. Ascertain the number of discharges which each will give of 150 amperes for ten seconds with half-minute intervals between successive discharges, down to a final voltage of 9. We will make certain alterations to the 6.CA11-Y in order to reduce its internal resistance and we intend to call the accumulator so modified type 6.CAR11-Y. Air Ministry Types 12-volt, 15 A.H. 25 A.H. and 40 A.H. Type 'B'. Prepare high rate discharge curves giving similar information to that shown on our curve C.116/1 which was handed to your Mr. West. We find that it will be some three weeks before we can let you have the above information and we trust that the time required for testing will not cause you any inconvenience. Yours faithfully, PETO & RADFORD. T. G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Chapman | ||
