| X3035 To Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T12.8.24. X.3035 - BATTERY THERMOMETERS. Answering your Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 21/NJ 28.7.24, with reference to the above, we still think there is some misunderstanding over this matter. There is no question but that there is a difference between the thermometers which they supplied and the one illustrated in the cutting which we sent under cover of our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T12.7.24; the former thermometers had elongated reservoirs, whereas the one illustrated had a spherical reservoir. It was not possible to get the whole of the reservoir of the thermometers sent submerged in the electrolyte above the plates of a chassis battery. Is it possible that they are speaking of thermometers suitable for open stationary batteries? EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
