Referring to yours EFC2/T12.7.24, we are in receipt of a letter from Peto & Radford acknowledging return of the 4 thermometers which you found to be inconveniently large and stating they find that no mistake has been made in the execution of our order, as the instruments supplied are identical with the illustration in the booklet which is issued with our batteries, and are of a type exactly similar to those used by them (Peto & Radford) in their Works. They state that they have found these thermometers quite satisfactory in service and suggest that the 4 which we have returned to them should be re-delivered to us.
