Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /HH.3/SW.22.5.41.

We would be pleased if TB/KNG. would provide us with the following information, so that we can add these particulars to our drawings :-

(1) Minimum Yield Stress.
(2) Ultimate Tensile.
(3) Minimum Elongation.
(4) Minimum Reduction in Area.
(5) Rockwell on tips.
(6) Brinell Range.
(7) Material Specification (if any).
(8) Any particulars of the alternative hardening processes which TB/KNG. would care to have on the drawings.

We also enclose two further blue-prints of :-

RE.1751 Cam Form - Inlet.
RE.1752 " " - Exhaust.

The new Camshafts have been added to LOP.RE.1682 as alternatives to those in S/ZN and to each other, under alteration number 316/RE.

We would also point out that this memo releases the Camshafts RE.2422/3 in S/ZN - BSS - S.67, which were held up under memo Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /HH.2/SW.19.5.41., as we desire to have these made in case of any snags arising over the 'Monikrom" job.

This completes the instructions for the above.

Kindly instruct up as required.

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /HH.
