London. S.W.1.

Dear Sirs,

It is noted that several car manufactures reversed the polarity of the battery on their electrical systems by earthing the positive to the frame instead of the negative.

We shall be glad to know what arrangements you propose making to the battery to avoid corrosion which will now take place on the battery box fixing bolts instead of the battery positive terminal.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
