To RHC {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} : from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Gry {Shadwell Grylls} : Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} 1/KT.13.10.33.

BRAKE THUMPS:

Will you please make a valve to the accompanying Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1166. We find that with a .015 hole in the piston as at present, thereis insufficient damping for thumps, but too much on the return thus preventing the brake coming off. We think that with a .010 hole and this valve we may overcome the trouble.
