Chapel-en-le-Frith,

Dear Mr. Longley,

Thank you for your letter of the 22nd February, and your invitation to come to the Works.

I really think it is time I visited you again, and I hope to be at Chapel at 12 o'clock on Wednesday, with Martindale.

I am much indebted to you for the assistance you have given us in the development of our light alloy drums.

Yours sincerely,
