The complaint of the starter on 34-XJ was gone into and has been reported to Hy. {Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} and Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}

The question of N. repairing switchboxes has been gone into with Hy. {Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} and he has agreed that if Br. {T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} sends his man up to Derby to learn how to make a satisfactory job, he is quite willing for N. to do the switchbox repairs.

At present the customer has to make two journeys in a case of switchbox trouble, one to have a spare fitted while his own is repaired and then a return journey to have his own refitted owing to the question of the keys which also fit the bonnet locks.

We left with Br. {T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} a scheme for testing out cars for ignition failure which we have also sent to H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} at Sales for the inspectors and to Hd. {Mr Hayward / Mr Huddy} here.

Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /HEW.
