Chassis No. 117-MC - Geoffrey Summers Esq. This Owner has written complaining of the points which are embodied in EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 2/H4.2.26. You will see from the attached copy of EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 's report that certain recommendations are made by him. We also enclose copy of Hrll/ED {J. L. Edwards} /5.2.26, containing CJ's instructions. You will note that CJ. asks that the Technical Officials at the Works should test the car for springing. The car has not yet been dismantled, but we are anxious to get on with the work as soon as possible. Would you please therefore, go out on the car at your early convenience and if I am not available Mr. Trayner has the work on the car in hand. Referring to Hrll/ED {J. L. Edwards} /5.2.26 :- "Yes to Paragraph 1." Will the Experimental Dept. please supply us with these special Front Shock Absorbers? "Yes to Paragraph 3." It has already been agreed that one of the latest type Steering Columns is to be fitted. Will the Experimental Dept. please give consideration to a more rigid Support, also more friction to Front Pivot referred to in EP {G.
