X.3926. RE GOODYEAR TYRES. With reference to your Cx {Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} 1/WM6.10.20 and C8/ML/5.10.20 also our Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 5/LG2.10.20 attached, we attach herewith a copy of our report ref. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 4/LG20.2.20, claiming the effect of Goodyear tyres. In short, the complaint we have against the Goodyear tyres is that it is difficult to keep the car straight. It is not steering wobbles or that the steering is made heavier; it is really caused by the back part of the car moving sideways and steering the car.
