Attached is a copy of a report from RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} on propeller shaft sliding joints. We believe there is something in this. We have now removed grease from the sliding joints of two cars and made a noticeable difference to overrun rattles in the transmission. We do not suggest that this method is a cure for such troubles, but it appears to us that it can accentuate an existing complaint.
