| R4/P 7.11.13 Sheet.2 it here on five cylinders, and as this work was done in the night, nothing much would be seen of it at Hyeres. The car was in the course of a few hours safely back at Le Canadel(Henry Royce's French residence), and we have telegraphed for an entire set of new rods and other parts to come out by a messenger. We expect, however, the car will not be in running order in less than a week or ten days from now. 2704 will not be running we expect for some time, as we want to get on this as many new parts as possible, and we do not want them to send it out in a hurry, so that we cannot undertake to send a car to Nice in less than fourteen days. Will you kindly send us instructions later if you wish us to do so. R. {Sir Henry Royce} COPY. R F SHAW (100) M S (XX 498) E167M R.S. 6/12 | ||
