| X3596 Exp. Dept. C. Mr Booth. BY4-P4.4.33. GOSHAWK(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) 11. INSTRUMENT BOARD. OIL PRESSURE GAUGES. We are informed by Messrs. Dewrance & Co, that the standard 40/50 Oil Pressure Gauges will withstand an overload up to 60 lbs without affecting their accuracy. Will the Exp. Dept. check whether one of the standard gauges under the normal overloading conditions which exist on Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) 11 will be sufficiently robust. If we find that the above gauges are not satisfactory, that is, the 40/50 we already have in stock, we will order all gauges in future to be capable of with-standing an overload up to 90 lbs. Will Mr Booth kindly add a note to his drawing to this effect. [STAMP] RECEIVED 7 MAY 1933 MADE AT CROXLEY BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
