Dear Mr. Hives,

Mr. J. {Mr Johnson W.M.} Russell Sharp has informed me of your forthcoming visit to France in connection with the tests on the new Rolls-Bentley Car, and, as promised by Mr. Sharp, I have very much pleasure in enclosing herewith a letter of introduction to Mr. R. {Sir Henry Royce} Frothingham, Directeur, Automotive Department, Vacuum Oil Company, S.A.F., Paris.
