RE DOUBLE LEVEL DEVICE SIDE FILLER AND PETROL GAUGE.

You will see that the suggestions I have made enable the double level pieces to be of less weight and bulk, more symmetrical, and require less skilled labour, and therefore well worth the trouble of modifying the drawing.

It is understood that most of the pieces will be made in pressure castings in brass, and that there would be the minimum of hand work and machining upon them.

I hope you and the instrument shop will be able to make excellent progress with these parts made specialy for the American production. At the same time it would be as well to have right and left hand ones, so that we can fit them to the English made cars also, should they prove preferable in the eyes of the Sales Dept.

It will be noted that all these fittings are additions to an already fairly complicated chassis, and therefore undesirable, unless there is a definite demand for them by the buyers.
