AUTOVAC AND ZENITH PETROL FILTER. I recently saw one of the latest Bentley six cylinder chassis at Messrs. Barker's and noticed that the autovac tank was fitted with a small auxiliary filler about 1¼" in diameter with a screw top, which appears to be the usual fitting, in case of damage to the rear petrol tank and loss of petrol as a considerable quantity of petrol can by this means be readily put into the autovac tank, whereas, without it, it is a very laborious operation. You might think it worth while to consider some such fitting for our autovac tank I also noticed that the Zenith filter of this car had not a glass cup but that it was a metal pressing, which on the whole would appear to be more satisfactory in view of the trouble we have already experienced with the glass cup.
