F.L. Manning, Esq.,
Messrs. Barker & Co. (Coachbuilders) Ltd.,
66, South Audley St. {Capt. P. R. Strong} ,
LONDON, W.1.

Dear Manning,

I hope to be in London for the week-end 24th-25th, and should much like to spend the Monday morning 26th trying the 5-litre Mercedes. I wonder whether you can arrange this for me, and if so whether I could be myself and not a prospective purchaser as it is then easier to ask awkward questions.

I hope your trip to "Gai Paris" was successful.

Yours sincerely,
